Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I was divorced a year ago in Florida. In the divorce decreee it states that my ex-husband keeps his retirement from his job (as a policeman). we were married for 16 yrs and I never worked full time outside of the home. Is there a way that I can still have half of his retirement?
