Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

i have been divorced for 7 years. I get alimony and after i was married( for 11 ans 1/2 half years) and during the marriage i been receiving disability payments now i still receive disability in the amount of 669.00 per month now only a 40 dollars difference than at the time of my divorce and alimony settlement by a court. I went to court putting my ex husband in contempt, now that i did that he is suing me to not pay alimony anymore in the amount of 500.00 which he really pays 225.00 bi weekly. I need this money i was recently homeless and now have an apartment for the last 2 and half months. even my rent is 895.00 per month. will he be allowed to not pay this alimony i need. I live in the state of Florida.
