Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have been divorced for over 6 years. My ex has requested a modification for child support in seminole county, Fl, and it was granted based on my income and his failed handyman business which he started right after we got divorced. He paid off his balance and currently I receive $280 monthly for 2 children! I have since gotten remarried, and had another child. My income has drastically been reduced, and I am getting ready to quit my job because of it. My current husband pays for all medical insurance.

How likely is it that I can request another modification? (it's been 3 years since the request by my ex, but I believe he has since filed for bankruptcy as well) Will my current husband's income be listed as mine? How do I calculate the child support amount when I do not know my ex's income?

quiting your job is not advisable when applying for modification of child support. Your income will be imputed based on that job.. Your current husband's income is NOT counted as these are NOT his children. Three years is a reasonable time to ask for a modification of child support. Doesn't matter what he makes because when you file he will have to produce a financial affidavit and so will you.

He should be paying for medical insurance or at least one half of the non covered expenses. What does your divorce document state?
