Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

i have been divored several years now. apparently i got behind on child sapport and she filed deadbeat parrent in the state of kentucky. its been cleared up now and want to know how i go about legally getting my visitation reinstated. i have join custody. i reside in florida so takeing trips to kentucky every two weeks is out of the question.

I am not sure what your talking about. It seems that Kentucky has jurisdiction and you would need to contact an attorney there to answer your questions. If your divorce and custody was decided here you can file a petition for modification.

I believe my colleague is correct. You need to contact a Kentucky attorney and see where that situation stands. If Florida still has jurisdiction - which means you did not domesticate your order with Kentuck if all matters were handled here, then you would file a Modification of Visitation and a Parenting Plan and have it served on the other parent.
