Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

dna tests

Once a court orders a dna test, how long does it take before we know the results? Will we be able to find out the results beforehand, or will there be a hearing to learn the results?

Is there any way someone can rig the results to get out of paying support? My fear is the weasle will do anything not to pay support.

Re: dna tests

It works like this: one of the parents goes to the lab and they swab for the DNA. The other parent and the child go to the lab and they swab for the DNA. One of them pays for the test or they each pay half. Depending on the lab, it takes about a week or so for the results to be mailed to the participants. It can't be rigged.
