Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

dna tests- restating question

DOR Hearing held- they ordered dna test.

How long does it normally take the court to issue the actual order to the parents to take the test?

How much time is normally granted to complete the test?

If the results are mailed to the parents- how does the court proceed in setting child support? Do they schedule another hearing?

Re: dna tests- restating question

Different counties have different timelines. In the larger counties, the DNA order is issued the same day. If it takes more than 30 days to receive the order to take the test, you should call and find out what's going on.

Normally, the order gives the parties thirty days to go take the test, but, as I said, different counties have different timelines.

Once the results are in, DOR typically sets the final hearing.
