Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

What are the domestic violence laws in Florida? My ex husband has my social security number and tries to find me. What are the domestic violence laws as far as if I submit my restraining order to places that do background checks and credit checks that they will block anyone from searching for me or finding me. My ex will go thru extremes to find me so what are the laws to protect me?

I am not sure you are afforded any protecting from credit card and/or job checks. You certainly should explain to jobs that they are not to disclosure your address. As to the credit card - it will depend if they will accept a post office box number. Since they sell your info - more than likely they will eventually get your address out there.
