Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

How to domesticate a divorce

My boyfriend was divorced in Florida, but now he and his ex-wife are living in GA, although in different areas. His ex-wife is denying him visitation rights which were granted by the divorce. He has been advised to domesticate the divorce in the county where the children are living. Can this be done w/o an attorney. If so, where does he obtain a form. He is on SSI disability and cannot afford an attorney.

Thanks.

He needs to get an "exemplified" copy of the judgment from the court in Tennessee and bring it to the clerk's office in Georgia where the children live, and the clerk should be able to help. There will be a filing fee of about $65.00.
