Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am trying to apply for tuition assistance for college but I do not qualify do to the fact my father is still living but I do reside with him nor am I supported by him in any way. My problem is I am 19 yrs of age and the financial aid department at the college says I have to get documentation of independancy. My question is how do I go about getting this documentation?

I went through this myself when in college. You have to contact your school's financial aid office. If what the clerks tell you doesn't sound right, make an appointment with the financial aid director. Either way, the office will help you with what you must provide.
