Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
my employer has been taking to much child support out of my check and my x husband refuses to pay the money back to me and i need to know how to deal with this and who exactly i need to go after to get my money back. the reason this happen was my employer was sent an additional order to take child support from my check but did not contact child support to verify that there should be only one order to deduct from my check so they just started taking both ordered amounts from my check which was a mistake and they also refuse to pay me my money back.

You should file a motion to correct child support payment or a motion for reduction of child support. Since your payments are being deducted, they should be going through the state, so there should be a record of how far you are ahead. If you are complete with all payments, and now you are overpaid on all child support you would ever be due, you have to sue your ex-husband in civil court to get the money back.
