NOTE: This communication is not intended as and should not be interpreted as legal advice. Rather, it is intended solely as a general discussion of legal principles. You should not rely on or take action based on this communication without first presenting ALL relevant details to a competent attorney in your jurisdiction and then receiving the attorney's individualized advice for you. By reading the "Response" to your question or comment, you agree that the opinion expressed is not intended to, nor does it, create any attorney-client relationship, nor does it constitute legal advice to any person reviewing such information, nor will it be considered an attorney-client privileged communication. If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.

Prenuptial agreements are individually drafted to meet the needs of the particular clients by a lawyer. You might be able to find some sample forms in a law library but I don't think it is reasonable to expect a lawyer to give you his or her work product.

Frankly, I would suggest that you retain an attorney to draft an instrument for you. The chances are good that if neither party had legal advice, a good lawyer could set the instrument aside in a divorce by claiming lack of understanding the instrument by the party seeking to have it declared void. Any error that you might make will cost you far more than the legal fees you would have paid the drafting attorney.
