What does your dissolution of divorce state. If your divorce states that you are responsible for one half the bill , they you must paid. However, I doubt that it states that. Decision making power refers mainly to hospitalization, religion if it becomes an issue that is not in the best interest of the child (and you really need to have your substantial circumstances ready for this) and private v. public school. Hair cuts, friends, sports are not the big dicision making deal and not really enforceable by court. So, read your doc - if it is there - they yes, you must pay. If not, then let her know that you will not pay. However, what does your child say - it is always nice to get their input because this is about the child - not about the fact that the two of you have issues.
