Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

equal distribution of property

I have been married for six years. A month or two after our marriage my husband went to work full time in a business he had bought 8 months before. It was worthless at that time -100,000. I worked the entire time supporting myself and most of our personal expenses. He also hired both of his sons. Now the business has done over 1.5 million in sales over the last 3 years and has been part of a franchise for 4. Changing the front name of the business. He does not feel I deserve any part of the business as thru mediation and temporary support hearing provided no finacial information on the business. Now 7,000. later I need a quick and direct way to get present worth of the business and am I entitled to 1/2 of it's worth from what it would sell for or what he declares worth after all his expenses real or not?

I would so appreciate any help you could suggest as of now I've had to sell everything I own and in February temporary is over.

Thank you

Re: equal distribution of property

This issue should be reviewed with your attorney. An examination of the corporate books is in order.
