hi my name is eric and i need help my my son recently told me that his mother was taking him to live in new york and that he couldn�t tell me.now they have vanished what can i do.

Unless you have a court order to prevent removing him from the state =- nothing. Now, were you married to the mother, is your name on the birth certificate. I suggest you file papers in the court for custody, visitation and child support and then get her served BEFORE she can establish residency in NY. Then ask the court for an order to pick up your child.
