I wish to establish legal rights to my daughter. I live in pasco county Florida. I was not married, did sign the birth control, and have had a strong relationship. Now, the mother has met someone, and is making it an issue for me to have that relationship with my daughter. How do I begin the process?

File a Petition to Establish Paternity in your circuit court. Be warned the court will more than likely assess child support.
