Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

establishing paternity and signing over rights

I recently recieved a letter from Va DCSE telling me to appear for a paternity test on a child I feel is not mine. The child was born full term but only 8 months after I had a relationship with the said mother. She is now claiming she is getting married wants me to do a dna test so that her husband can adopt the child. She informed me my name was on the birth certificate already however I never signed for anything for this child. I feel as though she is trying to trap me do I need to go to the appt? the letter was not sent certified mail and was sent to my parents adress. The said child is 2 yrs old now. I am a Va resident and the child and her are Fl residents. Can my name be put on the BC w/o my acknowledgment? If there is no name on the BC can the new husband just add his now?
