Can my ex-girlfriend be awarded child support from the time we split 8 1/2 years ago even though she never filed, was awarded, or asked for child support? I have given her money on and off through the years. I have always paid for our daughters medical, vision, and dental insurance.

You need to consult with a lawyer. The answer to your question maybe yes. I am assuming she has recently filed for support and the state or your ex is asking for arreages. Without receipts and bank records and court date you could end up paying arreages. You should consult with a attorney right away.
