Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My ex-girlfriend is on Section 8 housing in NC. She has now asked her sister to live with her due to her sister getting a divorce. She has been staying there since January and I found out today that her sister was also arrested for simple assault and does not have custody of her children due to this. My ex has my son living in this household. What can I do? I pay childsupport to her, but I have never met my son because I just recently was informed I even had one. I want what is best for my child. She also won't get back to me after I have sent her many emails. Her phone number has changed. I live in Florida and in the military so it is hard for me to just drop by to see him. please help!

You need to contact an attorney in North Carolina to assist with custody an/or visitation of your son. The Home State of your son has the authority to make rules governing custody. It does not matter that you live in Florida. It instead matters where he lives.
