Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My exhusband and I are in a custody battle. He took the kids out of state without my knowledge; I filed an emergency order for pickup but the judge ruled in his favor due to our agreement in our divorce of children residing 6 months with each parent. He is now claiming I have abused the children physically and will not return them to me. His current wife is a psycho and I pulled her court files and noticed that in 2010, she pulled the exact same thing on her ex husband that my ex is putting me through. Will this help me in court?

Depending on the specific circumstances and facts involved, your ex's current wife's mental state could be relevant.

Just because his wife made allegation of abuse against her ex does not in itself make that relevant to your case.

If you opt to proceed without the assistance of counsel, be aware that you will not be entitled to a do over if things go badly.

The above information is provided without any consideration/payment having been received, and without full knowledge of all of the facts.

An internet inquiry is no substitution for an in-office consultation with an attorney.
