Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My ex-husband & I divorced Jan 2010 (In GA...I now live in FL), In the decree orders a split of debts (incurred during the marriage...house, credit cards, personal loan) & for him to pay child support. He has stayed current with his child support mostly but has not payed anything towards the debt that is ALL in my name. I filed for bankruptcy last year & was granted Chapter 7 in June 2010. I asked that he pay me the personal loan that is ordered to me & half the cost of the bankruptcy & we would have it put in writing to resolve the balance. He refuses & hasn't paid anything outside of childsupport. How do I, can I, & should I persue filing contempt? Please help as I am a single mom of 2 (4 yo & 6 yo) making 12.50/hr while he is a certified law enforcement officer making $41k/year not including his $30/hour parttime security jobs he signs up for aside from the regular assigned shift hours.

You need to file a contempt action and bring him back into court. If you are sure that he is making money o the side, ask for his financial records - ie Tax Returns. If you know where he is working on his second job you can subpoena the income records from them.
