Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Ex-husband owes me in child support, he is about to inherit money. Can I place a lien on that

money so he cannot collect until his child support is paid up?

If you have a judgment, yes. Serve a garnishment

I disagree with Mr. Slater. The fact that he may receive an inheritance - you are not entitled to his inheritance. HOwever, once he invests those funds or places them in a checking or savings account to which you have access through a Judgment - then yes you may go after those funds.
