Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My ex-husband just received copy of motion of contempt filed by me, and wants to meet with me to discuss it. Will meeting with him hurt my case?

The judge would probably encourage you to sit down together--or maybe even with a mediator--to try to work things out. Settlement is almost always preferable to court.
