Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My ex-wife/mother of my children is currently facing eviction from her home. She can no longer afford to take care of our children. Can I take her to court and seek full/sole custody of my kids based on this fact? Also, what are my chances of actually winning?

One of the main factors considered by a Court when considering custody issues, is whether the parties can adequately provide a stable home for the children. If she cannot even provide an adequate place to live, then you probably have a good chance of prevailing.

If you opt to proceed without the assistance of counsel, be aware that you will not be entitled to a do over if things go badly.

An internet inquiry is no substitution for an in-office consultation with an attorney.
