False Statements

Our neighbors made false statments to the police and my husband was arrested for hitting our 17 yr old son in the arm and slapping him in the back of the head. the report says that he was beat all over his body with a board. there were no bruises or marks noted in report by officer.son wants to drop charges. state says no. atty says take probation. husband says no. please advise

Re: False Statements

If you are not guilty, insist on a trial. A trial before a judge is comparitively inexpensive. If the evidence is as you say, a not guilty verdict should be expected.
