Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I want to keep the family home

I have decided to end my marriage of 10 years. My husband and i own a home, which is protected by a chapter 13 bankruptcy filing. I filed the bankruptcy, I make sure the payments are sent out every month ( etc...). How do I go about filing for my divorce, and protecting my interest in the home, as well as custody of our 2 minor children?

Re: I want to keep the family home

Based on information provided, you are advised that your marital home as well as other property debts, support, and other issues should be included in a Marital Settlement Agreement which becomes part of your Final Judgment of Dissolution. Your issues appear sufficiently complex to require the help of a family law attorney who can protect your interests.
