Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Family Law

What can I do if my ex is not holding up his end of the divorce agreement when it comes to the children? I can not afford an attorney and he has a friend who is a personal injury attorney who keeps sending letters to my kids school claiming that he is representing my ex. Can a personal injury attorney represent a family law case? Thanks.

Re: Family Law

If your ex is violating the agreement regarding the children or support, you can file a motion for contempt against him.

No law or rule forbids a personal injury attorney firm representing a family law client.
