If mom is found cheating and step dad has went in the army step dad has adopted the children will he get custody of said children? With mom being main caretaker of all children and being a good mom.

A affair generally has no bearing on custody. However, an adoptive father is a father with parental rights. If he wants it, he can ask for shared custody. It doesn't mean he will get it. There are many factors to consider in a custody case.
