Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
family selling a house
Hi, first of all I am from a very large family- 10 kids. My father has passed away, and my youngest sister has POA. We put my parents house up for sale 6 months ago. My self and 2 others are ever asked any opinions, our decisions do not count, so we are never asked. The others have decided to lower the price of the house $101,000, when it as only been 6 months, and are going to put it on the market for that price. Is there any thing we can do to prevent this from happening?

NOTE: This communication is not intended as and should not be interpreted as legal advice. Rather, it is intended solely as a general discussion of legal principles. You should not rely on or take action based on this communication without first presenting ALL relevant details to a competent attorney in your jurisdiction and then receiving the attorney's individualized advice for you. By reading the "Response" to your question or comment, you agree that the opinion expressed is not intended to, nor does it, create any attorney-client relationship, nor does it constitute legal advice to any person reviewing such information, nor will it be considered an attorney-client privileged communication. If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.
With 10 beneficiaries, it is doubtful that all will ever agree on most things. If seven agree to lower the price, then it will probably be upheld by the court. It seems apparent that the property is not selling or getting interest at the current asking price and has sat on the market for 6 months. A reduction is probably proper at this time.
