Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
if the father of my daughter never signed her birth certificate and we were never married does he have any parental rights? If so how do i go about getting him to sign them over?

He has no parental rights unless they are granted to him through a child support case or paternity case. He can sign his rights over voluntarily with a judge's permission, but this permission is normally only granted if your husband is willing to adopt. If you are unmarried and/or your husband is unwilling to adopt, a judge will not likely allow termination. Judges don't like to leave children fatherless.
