Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
my father died. while alive i took care of him and paid for groceries, hearing aides, housekeepers etc, out of pocket. I would save up the receipts then he would reimburse me occasionally. When his handwriting got shaky I would write and sign the checks for him . Is there any way my sister could now demand that i pay back that money, as she knows I had to write (eventually) all of his checks? She is trying to get more than her share by stealing mine, and has apparently hired an attorney. I also had her sign a release when we divided the last of the money, as I saw this coming.

As long as you have your receipts don't worry about it. Just present a copy of them to her attorney when he asks for them.
If you are reimbursing yourself you have no problem. If you are enriching yourself then you have a big problem.
