Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

the father owes me back support and that amount had been added to my bi weekly support. just this week the revenue dept of fl deducted money from my support and has informed me that they will take my full suppor`t check due in a week and then only send me my support minus the back support for tanf received. is this legal and id not what can I do about it. til this happened revenue has been very helpful, but now very rude.

Cannot answer the question without document review. But if you have received ANY public assistance the government has first grab at any support money the Father pays until they recover 100% of what they have paid. Unfair? You bet, but this is what happens if you get :"assistance" from DOR.
