Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
father passed away in florida - left property (in florida) to me and sister (we both live in Texas) to sell and we get the money from it (both our names are on it) - sister has back-due child support ($25000 + in Texas) - if i sell the property as is, can the state take my part of the money because of my sisters debt?? - or do i NEED to have my sister sign off on it to assure i get my half??

Your half is not subject to her back child support except in very rare circumstances. You should talk to a Florida probate lawyer to see if those circumstances exist.
