Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Fathers visitation rights

My daughter was born out of wedlock; She resides with me and is now 14 months old. Her father who lives 3 hours away is now demanding that he take her for two weeks at a time. Can I refuse to let him take her until there is a formal court order? There is no court ordered child support or custody at this time.

Re: Fathers visitation rights

Until there is a court order there is no absolute right to visitation. You need to get this matter before the local cour tASAP. Good Luck.
