Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
ok.... a female has her boyfriend (and possible father of her baby) arrested for strangulation... the mother moved out of state... months later he was released from jail with having to go to a program and on felony probation from release 12-3-2014 to 12-2-2016.... Meanwhile the state put the stipulation in that he was to have no contact with her or the child until then........ he suckered her into a relationship a few months ago and she has also recently three months ago i believe had heart surgery again. this is twice...they are not together and yesterday he snatched the baby (2yrs) and is in hiding with her. Florida orange county PD told her there is nothing she can do unless it goes to court, because a parenting plan is not in place. Is this correct for the circumstances?

You need to get a lawyer and get an order for custody of the child.
whose name is on the birth certificate? are they married? does he have a court order for the custody of the child? What state is she living in. Not enough info
