Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My fianc and I are breaking up after being together for 8 years and living together for 1. I live in Florida and he is asking me (and my mother and daughter) to move out of his house. I quit my job for him 2 years ago (because he was jealous) and havent worked since. I dont have an income of my own. Do I have any rights?
He has offered me a sum of $50,000 to move out. $25,000 when I sign a contract saying I will be out in 45 days and the other $25,000 after he inspects the property. He gave me a list of the items I am allowed to take but the list is missing quite a few personal items. For example it says I can take my daughters bedroom set but doesnt mention her personal items or decorations in her room. He also mentions I can take my dishes but doesnt mention my pots/pans/cutlery etc. That I brought into the home. If I agree am I forfeiting my personal items? Or anything not listed even if they are mine?

You are not married so you may want to take the 50k that he offered.

Take the $ and run. Ask for a written specific list as to the property.
