My fiance is shortselling possibly foreclosing his home, I just purchased home. If we get married before he finalizes this can it affect me with my property?

Theorectically, you should be okay. As long as your name is not on the mortgage, your credit should not be affected, and the bank or mortgage company should not be able to come after your assets.
