Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I want to file a motion to terminate for child support to my ex wife, since all 3 no longer go to school, and all are over 18. The younger two are 19 and 21 and both quit high school, but still live with their mother. The divorce papers say I have to pay until all are finished with high school, turn 18 or are on their own. How easy can I do this on my own, or do I need an attorney, and what is this going to cost me?

Most lawyers would probably charge about $750 for this (that's what I would charge) up to about $2000. Probably cheaper than a month's child support. It's probably worth using a lawyer for your motion to terminate support because a lawyer can get you a hearing right away, which will save you the months of paying support while you get a hearing on your own. Call me if you are in Tampa Bay or the Orlando areas.
