Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I filed for dissolution of marriage and the papers were served, waited 20 days for answer and no respond yet. I filed for a motion to default and its been 1 month and I still haven't received court date or any answers. What should I do next? Should I motion to see the judge for a final hearing? It doesnt seem she wants to respond to my petition for a divorce.

Check with the clerk to see why they haven't issued a default. Once you have a default, set you case for final hearing before the judge. Bring a final judgment with three copies with you to the final hearing. If you have children, you'll also need to bring a parenting plan and completed child support guidelines.
