Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

if my ex filed for divorce and i filed and answer/countersuit and then i filed a petition to relocate to SC where i have family, and he filed his 4 days later, after denying my petition, his hearing was two months later and he was denied relocation. My relocation petition is the same day as the divorce hearing, and he's fighting for custody by bringing his mother who has decided to quit her two jobs in another state and give up her son, so he can get custody, this women hates me and tells my kids hateful things about me. My question is if he can't leave the state with my sons(4 and 5) how is he going to have custody? and if his mother moves in with him will that change the judges mind, after she stated my kids still needed me and their sister, and that the move wouldn't benefit the kids?

Sounds complicated. You should retain a lawyer.
