Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I filed for divorce (Dissolution of Marriage with child 11/03/2009. I did all the paper work on my own and submitted directly to the court. I filed the summons to my ex and completed and returned all paperwork. After several attempts to find out the status the only answer I get is that it is pending and may sometimes take this long. I want to know what I can do to get this expedited. Please help.

Go to the court house and review your file.

Definitely go to the court house and review your file - if 20 days has passed and no response, then set the hearing date and have him served.
