Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

When I filed for divorce my husband confessed to me that the two times our twins were in the hospital for what I thought were accidents was actually that he had hurt them physically. There were only two occassions in which this happened and it has never happened again? After domestic violence courses and counseling he was awarded alternate weekends and some holiday time with our three daughters but he is now filing for two mid week nights. Is this even possible? He lives in a one bedroom apartment and has no set schedule at work. And can I pursue criminal charges against him after all these years?

You are welcome to pursue criminal charges on your ex husband, and you should do so quickly if that's when you desire since their time limits placed on the time in which charges may be brought (the statute of limitations). Despite the evidence against your ex-husband, it's possible that your ex-husband could gain additional timeshare with your daughters if he is able to prove that a material, unforeseen, and substantial change of circumstances has occurred warranting the additional time. You should speak with the Florida attorney to assist you with your case against him.
