Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I have filed for a divorce here in the state of FL. My ex has decided to deny the request. The only stipulation that stood out on the document was that I refinance my house in 1yr. Does this mean that he wants the house or just money? The mortgage is currently in my name only & I have been making these payments from my individual account for many years... with the current economy, there is no way i would be able to refinance since I owe more than the house is worth. At this point how do I proceed.

Well, divorce is not deniable, so he must be talking about the house. Without looking at your paperwork, I can't be sure. Is the house in your name and did you own it before you got married? If so, he probably has no claim on it. Email me or call me if you need more info.
