Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I just filed short term disability with my company and fmla my wife is currently getting temparary alimoney. My disability is with Reliance can they take out 1/2 my disability check because she was getting that from my wages.

No. You should make application to the court to reduce alimony.

It will depend on what your court order states. Although you have two answers that I don't quite agree with, I would state that you need to file immediately for reduction of Alimony. It will help with offsetting the amount you must pay but I would guess you will still have to pay something.
