Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Filing

If I I had a divorce on 2005 and would like to file for sole custody, how would I do that? What forms should I file? Divorce was done at West Palm Beach County Clerk of Court.

You should not rely on or take action based on this communication without first presenting ALL relevant details to a competent attorney in your jurisdiction and then receiving the attorney's individualized advice for you. If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.

You will need to reopen the case and file a motion to amend the final judgment or a petition to modify custody. All Florida Supreme Court approved forms may be found here:

Pay special attention to Form 12.905. You would be well advised to retain counsel to prepare the motion and to represent you in this matter.
