Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

A final divorce agreement was mediated and agreed to with alimony payments ending in 2013. Two years after the mediated divorce agreement, my husband requested and was granted a modification/ reduction of alimony. The Judge agreed, granted the reduction, signed off on the reduced amount BUT changed the terms to PERMANENT alimony until either of us dies or I remarry. My husband says that he will stop paying alimony next year based on the previously mediated agreement. Can he do this? Or does the modification/ more recent order supercede the original mediated divorce order?

The modification now stands as the order to follow. Guess he messed up.

If is was a scrivener error, he can seek correction. Until then, he must pay.
