Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
In the final judgement of dissolution of marriage, I have visitation priviledges. But my ex-wife is demanding more money from me than what she was awarded. And, now, until I meet her demands, she is denying me all visitation priviledges. In fact, she won't even let me speak with my children on the phone.
And my concerns are not exclusive to me. My ex-wife's own sister reported her to child protective services because she is concerned about the welfare of my children.
I don't have money for an attorney. Please tell me how I can remedy this. My former attorney kicked me to the curb almost immediately after he realized he got all the money out of me that he would get out of me. And since I had to go into debt to pay him the thousands of dollars he demanded of me, I now must proceed without the benefit of counsel.

In defense of your former attorney - people forget we have to pay bills, we have family to support and we are not able to continue representation for free.
As to your situation, if you are without funds, then apply to the Legal Aid office in your area.
Otherwise, go online to the clerk's office for family law forms - file a contempt/enforcement and get a hearing date and have her served. Remember - if you make a mistake you can not do over - I suggest you find an attorney or make arrangements with the one you had.
Representation of children is not a game. It is not a case of pro se representative. Unless you know the law, do not take chances with your children. If your former wife is being investigated by children services, then you know your children may be in danger. Call the children services, find out what is going on.
