Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

How to have a final judgement reviewed??

I was divorced in 1998, I was in pro se and mediated, my former husband has not complied with that mediated order nor has he complied with the final judgement. A final hearing was waived and I feel that I was pressured by his attorney to waive a final judgement. How do I have the case reviewed???

Re: How to have a final judgement reviewed??

Based on the limited information provided, it appears that you wish to enforce the final judgment. The mediated marital settlement agreement is typically incorporated in the final judgment. It does not matter that you waived the final hearing; it does matter what provisions are in the final judgment, including the mediated agreement. Recommendation: consult with a family law attorney to enforce the final judgment either through a motion for contempt or enforcement. You may handle it pro se by obtaining the forms at the Clerk of Court; however, it appears you may be a bit overwhelmed by the process, based on your question.
