Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Final Judgement/alimony
If my ex-husband is not providing the correct alimony amount and not abiding by the Final Judgement in other areas is it better to take him to small claims court or back to civil court with the expense of an lawyer?

If he is violating the Order of the Court (the Final Judgment) I would think your attorney can cite him for contempt and will usually prevail on an award of attorneys' fees, which may be punishment enough. Call him and try it first. It's easiest.
Re: Final Judgement/alimony
For alimony, I almost always recommend family court, where jail is a possible sanction. For the other things, family court may not be an option, and you may have to take him to civil court. Family court is usually only available for alimony and child support violations.
Either way, you should definitely use a lawyer.
