financial question

My husband is asking for a divorce. I recently received a small settlement from an auto accident. Is he entitle to the money?

Assuming the settlement related to assets you owned jointly, then yes. If you were a passenger and the accident did not involve your joint owned asset, you might be able to say these assets are not part of the marital assets. A closer examination of the facts is necessary.
