Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Is there a way I can find out if the mother is double dipping from me and the state. We have not been to court and there is no court order. I pay on my own with out going through the system directly to the mother. I have all my receipts and checks to prove so. The mother keeps claiming she is behind on day care payments and demands more money, even though the amount I pay her should cover it. I have asked repeatedly for the name of the day care so I can contact them to make arrangements for payment. She refuses to tell me the name of the day care. I believe she is collecting from me and the state since we are not in the system. How can I protect myself and get some legal guidelines laid down.

Contact your Clerk of Court and ask if there is a Child Support case opened in either your name of the Mom's name. If she is getting money from the state, DOR will aggressively come after you to recoup all money they have paid to mom.
